Meet Our Dentist

Dr. Karlnelius Duhon is a Lake Charles native who graduated as the valedictorian from Lake Charles Boston High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette before studying for a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from New Orleans' LSU (Louisiana State University School of Dentistry). While at the University of Louisiana, he was a Gates Millennium Scholar, Dell Scholar, and Toyota Scholar, and completed Louisiana State University as a National Health Service Core Scholar.

Dr. Duhon has spent his entire life volunteering for groups like the Knights of St. Peter Claver, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. His professional affiliations also include:

• National Dental Association
• Pelican State Dental Association

Dr. Duhon is a parishioner of Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart Catholic Churches. In his spare time, he enjoys lifting weights, outdoor cooking, and Mardi Gras. Not to mention, he is also a prominent New Orleans Saints supporter.
