With our experienced dentist, Dr. Duhon, you can be confident that your dental treatment will be comfortable, efficient, and accurate.

Some dental technologies our dental clinic utilizes include:

  • Cone Beam CT
  • Dental X-Rays

Cone Beam CT

A Cone Beam CT (CBCT) scan is a unique type of X-ray technology that allows our dentist to examine your jaw bones, teeth, soft tissue, and nerve endings with three-dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth. When ordinary X-rays are not enough, our dentist will use the Cone Beam CT.

Like standard dental X-rays, the CBCT requires no special preparation. We utilize protection from X-Ray radiation, and the scan is done within a relatively short time.

Dental X-Rays

Digital X-rays deliver an 80 percent reduction in radiation exposure and do not require any preparation. Our dentist, Dr. Duhon, can view, magnify, and electronically save high-quality photos of your jaws, teeth, and roots using these X-rays.

To protect our patients from the minor radiation present by X-ray technology, we will utilize a protective garment during the scan. But, don't worry; the radiation produced by these scans is significantly less than most people receive from the sun, and with additional protection, we have you covered.
